GTA 5 is getting closer and closer to 200 million units sold

With the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer announcement, the next entry in the acclaimed series is now in the spotlight. Nonetheless, it’s worth noting that GTA 5 is doing exceptionally well, as confirmed by the recent Take-Two Interactive’s recent figures.

According to conference call notes uploaded a couple of days ago, GTA 5 has now sold 190 million units (roughly) since it launched back in 2013. At this rate, it will breeze through the 200 million mark, keeping its position as the second highest-selling game after Minecraft (which recently hit a staggering mark of 300 million).

Grand Theft Auto 5 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Meanwhile, we are eagerly waiting for that GTA 6 footage. Super hyped!
