Starfield proves that staying up all night and playing video games may not be such a bad idea after all

Many people say video games are a waste of time, but Starfield has proven that the reality may be slightly different, after all. Namely, the game helped save a person’s life.

Reddit user tidyckilla posted an image to the Starfield sub, which shows fire breaking out in a residential area. The story gives to Starfield for saving their lives as they were too busy playing the game into the late hours rather than sleeping.

The post also goes on to say that the whole unfortunate event took place on September 1. After purchasing the Premium Edition of the game, they got so immersed into this virtual world that they stayed up until 2:26 AM, when they heard an explosion coming from their neighbor’s apartment. Since they were up, they were able to move their family to safety.

So yeah…next time when you happen to pull an all-nighter, just remember...it may end up saving your life.
