Striking Distance Studios and Krafton have started to address all the technical issues that are currently affecting the sci-fi horror game The Callisto Protocol and we already have new patches rolling out on both PC and consoles, hoping to fix some of these problems.

The first update, which launched this past week, was delivered to the PC version of the game and it focuses on the heavy stuttering that’s been bugging both reviewers and players. As the Striking Distance Studios founder Glen Schofield puts it up, this problem was an oversight caused by mistakes in coding and now they hope the new update will improve the general stability for all PC players going forward.

The console players now also got their own patch that aims to address the frame rate drops and random crashing happening on the Xbox and PlayStation versions of the survival horror adventure. On top of that, the development team noted that they are well aware of the visual-heavy title’s ray-tracing effects and they’re investigating the overall performance of The Callisto Protocol on all platforms, with more fixes and patches coming in the near future.

Schofield posted a message on his Twitter account the past Sunday, saying: “We hear you. As we say in the [patch update] tweet, we will communicate and keep you all updated. We want you to play the game as intended.”

The Callisto Protocol is now available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
