Forever Entertainment have confirmed that their upcoming lightgun shooter The House of the Dead Remake is coming to non-Switch platforms this week. Make sure you have your wallets ready!


The remake was initially released on the Nintendo Switch earlier this month, but the game will now also launch on the Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Google Stadia on April 28. The remake gives the original 1996 Sega lightgun shooter a revamped modern-day makeover. The audio is re-recorded and we have revamped controls while retaining the ‘true to the original’ gameplay from the original developer MegaPixel Studio.


The remake introduces a bunch of new additions like a brand new game mode, a photo mode, a gallery filled with monsters and bosses that you’ve defeated before, and an armor with weapons that you can unlock along the way. The game also has support for local 2-player multiplayer, and there are some trophies and achievements that you can do too.
