Devolver Digital have put up a trailer to mark the launch of Death’s Door on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation consoles.
The game puts you in the role of a Crow whose only duty is to carry the souls of the recently deceased to the afterlife. However, the most recently assigned soul got stolen and it’s up to you to bring it back. You will be chasing this soul thief across a mystical world untouched by death, a world full of mysterious and powerful creatures that are ought to give you a hard time.
Death’s Door got a lot of critical praise and awards. This includes an INDIE Live Expo Winter 2021 award and a nomination for Best Indie Games at this year’s The Game Awards. We will see if it will succeed in taking the title in December. Acid Nerve was previously known for 2015’s amazing Titan Souls, so it’s no wonder they managed to deliver yet another outstanding title.
Death’s Door is available now on PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. It’s also available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One since July. You can check out the trailer below:
