Codemasters have released the second F1 2021 circuit update, adding the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari circuit also known as Imola.

This famous circuit is named after the founder of Ferrari and it’s much narrower than most modern tracks. It’s also well-known for its anti-clockwise direction and its fast corners. Even though the track was semi-retired from the series since 2006, it made a glorious return in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Other than that, we also have a new “Unsafe Pit Release” option in multiplayer. Your pit crew will no longer have to wait until there’s a safe place to let you return to the race. Yipee! Instead, if you exit the pits in the path of an oncoming car, you’ll ghost for a few seconds first. You can now also add a timeout for multiplayer lobbies, social play templates, and much more.

This is the second free circuit addition to the game (the first one was Portimao) and I hope Codemasters will keep up with updates like this one in the future as well.

The F1 2021 Imola update is available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. You can check out the trailer below:
