Die-hard Splinter Cell fans thirst for some new adventures of Sam Fisher but Ubisoft refuses to give in. Luckily, Netflix is ready to jump into the rescue.
Splinter Cell will be getting an anime adaptation on Netflix. Derek Kolstad (the writer of John Wick) is attached as writer and executive producer of this upcoming animated show. It is also reported that Netflix is planning 16 episodes over two seasons and we can only hope that this is just the beginning.
It would be nice from Ubi to give us a new Splinter Cell game as well, but who knows, maybe this show will inspire them to do so eventually. One can hope!
