Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Private Beta Announced
Activision has announced the private beta dates. Through August fans will be able to get some hands-on gaming for the private multiplayer beta. Playstation and Xbox will be the weekend following. September, the Blackout beta will take place which, for the first time, will be the battle royale mode.
Playstation 4: August 3rd at 10am PT / 5PM GMT through August 6th 10am PT / 5pm GMT
Playstation 4 & Xbox One: August 10th at 10am PT / 5pm GMT through August 13th at 10am PT / 5pm GMT
To get the private beta key code you will need to preorder Black Ops 4 at available retailers. If you decide to go digital, you will automatically be registered, and it should show up as a download when the beta starts.
PC players will have their own private beta date. The date will take place on August 11th 10 am PT until August 13th 10 am PT. You need a Battle.net account to access it, but for those who do purchase it through Battle.net will get an extra full day to play.
For the first time in Call of Duty history, a battle royale mode will be introduced. Thus, being the Blackout Private Beta. This key also is only available through preorder. More details closer to the end of summer.
