MachineGames shows off a glimpse of Indiana Jones and The Great Circle

As a part of the Xbox Developer Direct Livestream, MachineGames showed off their upcoming project – Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. We have Harrison Ford looking better than ever and some Nazi-punching action, which is always a great thing.

We have everything we can expect from a perfect Indiana Jones game – a whip, some torches, a travel montage, the Wilhelm scream, a female companion, and ancient puzzles. The game is mostly done in first person, except when we’re doing more agile activities or looking at Harrison Ford in a cutscene.

The plot takes place between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. Jones witnesses the theft of an artifact from the college he works at and now it’s up to him to uncover the much deeper mystery that lies behind this crime.

The team did their best to recreate the well-known atmosphere from the movie, and based on what we can see, they did a very good job there. I am looking forward to seeing this game in action when it launches.

Indiana Jones and The Great Circle is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC later this year.
