Blackbird Interactive and Gearbox Publishing announced that the next entry in the popular sci-fi RTS series, Homeworld 3 will launch on March 8, 2024, on PC (via both Steam and the Epic Games Store). This will be the first title in the series in over two decades at this point. Holly molly!
“The Homeworld community has waited actual decades for this launch. We’re thrilled that their wait will finally be rewarded this March as players will be able to command the Mothership and continue their adventures. We’re grateful to BBI for their incredible work, and to the players for communicating with us and ultimately trusting us with Homeworld’s legacy. Hopefully, they feel that we’ve done it proper justice.”
– Steve Gibson, President of Gearbox Publishing
The announcement also unveiled four separate editions that will be made available. The first is the Standard Edition, priced at $59.99, which includes the base game. The Deluxe Edition, priced at $79.99, comprises the base game and the Year One Pass.
