Blackbird and Gearbox have released a blog post revealing the system requirements for Homeworld 3. Thankfully, the game has very generous minimum requirements so if you’ve upgraded your rig fairly recently, you likely won’t have to do it again. Now, if you want to enjoy some high-quality raytracing, you may need a more powerful machine.

Thankfully, the minimum, recommended, and (to a degree) high requirements are reasonable. You can get along easily with an Intel ARC discrete GPU and only 8GB of VRAM. It looks like the game will be more CPU-reliant as opposed to GPU, which is now standard for all RTS games in general. The game looks beautiful indeed and I can’t wait to play it myself.
Homeworld 3 is coming to PC in February 2024.
