Resident Evil Village is now available on iPhone and iPad
You can play the story opening for free.
Capcom have announced that Resident Evil Village is now available on iPhone and iPad. If you ever wanted the game to be closer to your face, now you’ll be happy to know that it can indeed be closer to you…if you’re an Apple user.
You can check out the launch trailer below. It’s a full game (plus DLC) that is now made compatible with iPhone 15 Pro and “all iPads with the M1 chip or later.”
The trailer states that the “story opening can be played for free", but of course, you do need to pay to get the full experience. Thankfully, the game comes with controller support for everyone who isn’t particularly excited about using the on-screen touch buttons. Apple themselves also recommend using a control pad, which says enough.
Resident Evil 4 Remake is also coming to Apple products. At the moment we don’t know when, but the App Store shows December 31 as a placeholder date, so that’s promising.
Time to recharge my iPhone, I guess.
