Project Downfall is coming to consoles starting with Switch in November
Pills, pistols, and politics
RedDeer.Games have announced that MGP Studios and Solid9 Studios’ Project Downfall, a trippy neon-drenched first-person shooter is coming to Nintendo Switch in November as well as Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 at some point later.
The game is best described as a psychedelic shooter with shades of Hotline Miami. It focuses heavily on swapping weapons frequently, slow-motion takedowns of groups of enemies, and throwing weapons that you’re done using to buy yourself more time. You’re a rich businessman with a chip on your shoulder and a hunger for vengeance. The plot revolves a lot about global politics but our protagonist doesn’t really care about that stuff. He just wants to spill some blood and perforate thugs.
The good news is that the game has 12 different endings and the choices you make throughout the journey have a direct impact on the final outcome.
Project Downfall is currently available on PC and it is coming to Nintendo Switch in November as well as Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 at some point later.
