Nintendo gives us more details on Princess Peach: Showtime

Following a very vague teaser in the last Nintendo Direct, Nintendo have now revealed more details on the previously unnamed Princess Peach: Showtime.

The game will see our iconic heroine going up against Grape and the Sour Bunch. The game is set up as a series of stage plays, each with its own unique theme and with just enough room for Peach to take on a different transformation. We’ve already seen some of these transformations (patisserie, swashbuckler, and detective, among others), but as we’ve learned in the meantime, there are many of them yet to be unveiled.

This sure isn’t the first game with Princess Peach in the spotlight, but she looks slightly more skilled this time around. The game as a whole looks very exciting as well and I love how they are planning to mix platforming elements with some very interesting mini-games. I’ll certainly check it out as soon as it launches.

Princess Peach: Showtime is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 24, 2023.
