If you’re still having a blast with Mario Kart Tour, we have sad news coming for you. According to a new in-game notification coming from Nintendo, there won’t be any new in-game content for Mario Kart Tour after October 4, 2023.
Here’s what Ninty says:
“From 10/04/2023 (Wed) on, tours will consist of content from tours that have appeared before. Note: No new courses, drivers, karts, or gliders will be added following the Battle Tour starting 10/04/2023 (Wed). We hope you continue to enjoy playing Mario Kart Tour.”
Seems like it’s set in stone now and there will hardly be any changes here.
Funnily enough, plenty of the courses found in Mario Kart Tour have been ported to Mario Kart Deluxe 8, so even when new content ceases to come, its legacy will still keep going in a different form.
Mario Kart Tour is (still) available on Android and iOS.
