Console versions of Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition will launch on September 29

Sabotage Studio’s Nightdive Studios, New Blood Interactive, and Apogee Entertainment have announced that the delayed console versions of Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition will launch on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on September 29.


Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition was initially released on July 31, 2023, on PC. The console versions were originally supposed to launch alongside the PC version, but they were delayed roughly a week before the scheduled launch.


The PC version comes bundled with the original campaign and a number of features that improve the original release. I’d say this is the best version of the game to date.


We don’t know whether there are some notable differences between console and PC versions as the press release doesn’t explicitly state anything, but nonetheless, I’m really looking forward to playing the game on consoles when it launches.


Rise of the Triad: Ludicrous Edition is currently available on PC and it will launch on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on September 29, 2023.
