Devolver Delayed reveals that five games are delayed until 2024
…not even a surprise at this point.
Devolver Digital just streamed their Devolver Delayed showcase, and among other things, they announced that five titles won’t be seeing the market until 2024.
Perhaps the biggest delay is the action-adventure game The Plucky Squire, but that is not the only delay we’re dealing with here. Stick it to the Stickman, Anger Foot, Skate Story, and Pepper Grinder are also rescheduled for release in 2024. As the studio noted, the games need more time before they are ready for full launch.
Still, on a more optimistic note, despite the fact these five titles are delayed, the showcase ended with the studio pointing out that they plan to launch some games this year. Gunbrella, Wizard with a Gun, The Talos Principle 2, The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, and Karmazoo are all scheduled for release in 2023. And we will also have the DLC for Broforce Forever and McPixel 3, which is a lot of new content to go through.
Nobody likes when a game is delayed, but hey, at least we can hope the additional waiting will be worth it. I trust the company, they deserved extra credit after all the great games they’ve put out so far.
