Dual-stick retrowave action game Mega City Police is out now

Ravenage Games have just launched their 80s throwback dual-stick shooter, Mega City Police, on PC and you can pick it up on GOG, Epic Games Store, and Steam.


Mega City Police has strong 80s vibes and it lets you play as legally distinct versions of various action heroes with a mutual goal of bringing justice to the world. All scenes shown in the trailer are depicted under a CRT filter and it’s a very fitting combination.


We can play as one out of eight playable characters with 16 different abilities and we have more than 100 different weapons and upgrades at our disposal. It’s roguelite with “a robust progression system” and strong Robocop vibes, which clicks perfectly for me.


Mega City Police is available on PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store. Ravenage Games announced that “the game will get 5 free expansions with new secret levels, agents, and couch coop.” You can check out the trailer below.
