Pikmin 4 is making strides, no doubt about that. As Gematsu reported, the game has sold impressive 401,853 physical copies in the first week upon launch. This mindblowing number is actually greater than the one we’ve seen for all three previous Pikmin games combined!
Given the fact that we have a new leader at the top of the Japanese charts, that means The Legend of Zelda: Tears of Kingdom slipped to second place after ruling the sales records for several weeks. Nonetheless, the latest Zelda game is still doing exceptionally well with 15,616 physical copies sold in Japan between July 17 and 23, making up the total number of sales climb in Japan to 1 775,035.
