Penny’s Big Breakaway is a new 3D platformer developed by the Sonic Mania team

While this project doesn’t have a lot of similarities to the critically acclaimed Blue Blur video game, it promises a speedrun-centric slant with its Time Attack mode. We’ll also have a lot of yo-yo-based attacks which the titular Penny can modify with various snack-based power-ups. We also have mentions of secret stages and unlockable bonus items, so it definitely feels like the game will have a big replay value, which is definitely a plus in my book.
