Rogue Legacy 2 will be available on PlayStation starting from next week
An indie cinematic blockbuster.
Cellar Door Games have announced a release date for the PlayStation version of the epic medieval roguelike Rogue Legacy 2 and the game will be available on the platform starting from June 20.
Originally released in the spring of 2022, Rogue Legacy 2 sees a plucky knight going through a series of dungeons, fighting ghouls and ghosts (a non-intentional reference to the NES classic), as well as monsters and a variety of dangerous bosses. Just like in the original game – death is only the beginning. Each fallen knight will be replaced by the next in their bloodline and many of them have their own unique quirks and abilities, also known as “Traits”.
The sequel adds several new features, including Metroidvania-type “Heirlooms”, allowing access to an expanded narrative that runs beyond the original run and into several New Game+ efforts and a number of out-of-reach areas. If you didn’t play the game yet, I highly recommend you check it out.
Rogue Legacy 2 is coming to PlayStation on June 20. It is available now on PC, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
