If you loved the original Cities Skylines, you’ll be happy to know that Cities Skylines 2 got a release date and the launch is set for October 24th. We’ve also got an amazing in-game trailer to gawk at.
The footage we have now is really epic. It shows off the upgraded visuals of the sequel and also a UI that looks brand new but is also very familiar. We’re also getting some fancy features like being able to build both roads of a divided highway simultaneously. Quite amazing, isn’t it? And that’s not all – we’ll be able to build grids of roads and we’ll have plenty of traffic-related upgrades to enjoy as well.
Other than that, the engine looks amazing and the weather effects look absolutely breathtaking. Compared to its predecessor, it’s certainly a huge upgrade. In any case, I am really looking forward to this game’s launch and I know I will be having a blast with it when it eventually comes out.
City Skylines 2 is coming to Xbox, PlayStation, and PC on October 24.
