Last week’s PlayStation showcase was very exciting for Metal Gear Solid indeed. Not only that we got a confirmation for Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake, but we also found out that a brand-new Master Collection (Vol.1) is coming our way as well.
Based on currently available information, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 will include the iconic classics - Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and the original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, as well as Hideo Kojima’s original MSX classics Metal Gear and Metal Gear II: Solid Snake.
The bundle promises “classic versions” of all included games, along with additions like MGS: VR Missions/Special Missions, and the HD editions of MGS 2 and MGS 3. The official listing notes that some small edits will be made in regard to copyrighted content, however.
Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 will launch this fall on “latest platforms” while Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is currently in development for PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
