Annapurna’s sci-fi kity adventure Stray is seemingly heading to Xbox, at least according to the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB), which has uploaded a listing for a new port of the critically acclaimed dystopian tale currently available on PlayStation and PC.
First spotted by Twitter user MACOS380, the ESRB rating all but confirms that the game will be launching on Xbox One and Xbox Series X at some point in the future, bringing the epic feline adventure to a wider audience. We’re yet to get an official confirmation for the Xbox port of Stray but the ESRB listing does suggest we see it in the near future.
Released back in 2022, Stray sees us guiding an inquisitive kitty through a walled city decimated by evil AI and abandoned by its citizens. Utilizing adaption, ingenuity, and deft movement, you’ll need to guide the kitty to the surface of the city aided by a robot side-kick, B-12, and threatened by the city’s security droids and a mysterious, sentient bacteria known as “Zurk”. The game was massively praised for its world-building, uniqueness, animation, and its deep and complex story through minimal dialogue.
Stray is available now on PlayStation and PC.
