Atari have unveiled their upcoming platformer, Mr. Run and Jump, and it’s set to launch this year on PC and consoles.
The game started out as a homebrew experiment for the Atari 2600 at Graphite Lab. Soon after, they demanded a more modernized take on it and they’ve got a fast-paced, die-and-retry platformer with neon visuals. There’s plenty of jumping and running going on here, and even some hopping as a bonus.
Based on the available footage, this is definitely a game you don’t want to miss out on.
Mr. Run and Jump is coming to PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Atari VCS later this year.
