Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series passes the two million sales mark
By the power of the crystal…
Square Enix have announced that the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series have now surpassed two million sales across console, mobile, and PC platforms.
The bundle of classic RPGs first launched on mobile platforms and PC in the summer of 2021 before arriving to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch last month. The range of games consists of iconic titles Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II, Final Fantasy III, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy VI. The bundle received positive reviews from both critics and fans alike.
Each release sees the games tweaked for modern displays while retaining their familiar (and nostalgic) 8-bit and 16-bit warmth-inducing sprites and environments overseen by original artist Kazuko Shibuya. The audio has been restored by the legendary composer Nobuo Uematsu and we’ve got a number of balance tweaks and bug fixes to ensure the best possible experience.
The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series is available now on PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
