Retro-inspired racing game, Formula Retro Racing: World Tour is now live on Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC, and the PlayStation version is coming on April 21st.


Developed by CGA Studios and Repixel8, Formula Retro Racing: World Tour is a retro-inspired racer inspired by the iconic Virtua Racing. With a focus on chunky polygonal graphics and quick speed, the game aims to recapture the spirit of arcade racing. Still, despite the retro flavor, the developers tried to put more realistic features into it, including the track design, and the suspension works.


This is also a sequel to 2020’s Formula Retro Racing. It uses the same art style while also trying to expand and improve the game in every possible way, offering a more polished experience, more tracks, and even a VR mode. The developers noted that they are planning to improve the game over the next three months at least.


Formula Retro Racing: World Tour is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
