The British Academy of Film and Television Arts has released their nominee list for the 2023 BAFTA Game Awards, which are scheduled to take place later this month. The most stunning fact is that Sony Santa Monica’s sequel God of War Ragnarok managed to get a record-breaking 14 nominations. Just…wow!
The multi-award-winning and critically acclaimed fantasy adventure is nominated in the vast majority of this year’s categories, including Best Technical Achievement, Narrative, Music, Multiplayer, Game Design, Artistic Achievement, and Best Game. And if that’s not enough, Christopher Judge is nominated in the Performer in a Leading Role category for his portrayal of Kratos, while Danielle Bisuti snatched the nomination in the Performer in a Supporting Role category for her portrayal of the troubled witch, Freya. The award ceremony will hardly end without Sony Santa Monica claiming a bunch of awards for their smash-selling masterpiece.
The BAFTA awards ceremony will take place on March 30. You can check out the full list of categories and nominations on the official website.
