Just a year after launching Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition, Square Enix went back to address some of their most annoying issues with a patch that is coming this month. The update should address the issues related to the game’s frame rate, fix a number of bugs, and tweak the growth system for Pip.
Chrono Cross was the anticipated sequel to the iconic SNES classic, Chrono Trigger. It was very well received at the time of release but has since developed a reputation as being “not Chrono Trigger” and many devoted Chrono Trigger fans are now distancing themselves from that game. Eventually, we saw the release of Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition as well, but while the title was decent, it was still far from PS1’s best games.
Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition is now live on PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
