Blizzard Entertainment have announced that they will be holding best tests for their grim-looking dungeon-crawler Diablo IV this March. The game is currently scheduled for launch on PC and consoles on June 6.
The beta was confirmed during the IGN Fan Fest, and it will be going live on all platforms, allowing players to experience the majority of the first act set in the locale of “Fractured Peaks”. You can play all character classes up to level 25. Most of the main quests and side objective will be available at your disposal in the beta, which is more than amazing. It does look a lot like the Diablo III beta test, which was held back in 2012, offering the same experience and limitations.
If you pre-order Diablo IV, you will get early access for the weekend of March 17-19 while the beta will be fully open to the public on March 24-26. All the progress that you make in the closed beta will be transferred to the open beta. You can check out all the details on Blizzard’s official website.
Diablo IV will launch on June 6 on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. Make sure you check out the opening in-game cinematic:
