Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s next patch is coming out in February
Gotta catch all the bugs.

The Pokemon Company have announced that the series crossed over the four-digit mark for their total number of pocket monsters. What a record, congratulations! Another important piece of information that has to be pointed out is that another bug-fixing patch is on its way, and as the company noted in the official press release, the update will launch in “late February”. We don’t have the exact release date at this point, but at least we have the timeframe.
Scarlet and Violet are already considered to be some of the best entries in the franchise (at least if we’re looking at recent games, that is), but they had quite a rocky start, to say the least. Since launch in November, we had a 1.1 patch that tried to address some of the major bugs plaguing the game at the time and now we have a 1.2 update that will address even more of these issues. As the press release indicated, the patch “will include bug fixes and add functionality,” and it tells us to please look forward to more details soon.” I’m certainly hyped at this point!
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available right now on Nintendo Switch.
