The Game Awards 2022 will have a special presentation from Naoki Yoshida

The Game Awards 2022 ceremony is getting closer and Final Fantasy fans will be happy to know that Naoki Yoshida of Square Enix will be attending the ceremony and holding a special presentation as well.


The official TGAs account confirmed that Yoshi-P will be present at this year’s event, with a special presentation in store for us. We have no further details at this point but I believe we can expect more information related to Final Fantasy XVI and maybe, just maybe, we’ll get a sneak peek into what’s next in line for the critically acclaimed MMO, Final Fantasy XIV.


Yoshida-san is the main reason why Final Fantasy XIV is such a powerhouse in the MMO genre today and he’s also the producer of the upcoming RPG Final Fantasy XVI. Luckily we won’t have to wait long to see what Square Enix has prepared for us this time.

Final Fantasy XIV is scheduled for launch in the summer of 2023. We could be getting a release date next Thursday.
