Ubisoft have officially confirmed that the next Assassin’s Creed will indeed be Assassin’s Creed Mirage, following the leak of the official art yesterday.
We still don’t have a lot of details about the game itself other than the confirmation from Ubisoft themselves and the official art. We should learn more during the Ubisoft Forward event on September 10.
The image was posted on social media earlier by The Codex Network, but it was quickly taken down due to a copyright claim by Ubisoft before being uploaded to the official AC account.
Based on what the image shows so far, we could be going back to a Middle-Eastern setting, which would be the first visit to the region since the original Assassin’s Creed (And a part of Revelations).
We also had some rumors that the next Assassin’s Creed could take place in Baghdad, and according to Bloomberg, it will feature the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla character Basim, telling the story of his life before meeting Eivor.
In any case, don‘t miss out on the Ubisoft Forward event that will take place on Saturday, September 10 at 9 PM CEST/12 PM PT (8 PM British Time).
