Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes shows off a new mercenary in the latest trailer

As noted above, the video introduces a new mercenary character Shez as she aligns with one of three different factions to fight for the future of Fodlan. You’ll be making crucial decisions as you make progress in the game, choosing between Scarlet Blaze, Golden Wildfire, and Azure Gleam. Each of the three different factions offers a different path through the game, with different units and different endings depending on your choice.

Along the way, you’ll also be interacting with a lot of recognizable faces from the series. You can also team up with some of them on the battlefield to perform immensely powerful Partner Special attacks. For instance, Dimitri can cut through swathes, Claude can take out foes at a distance using his bow, and Edelgard can swing through mobs with both his lance and his axe.

While taking a break from the battlefield, you’ll also be able to train with different allies to boost your skills and increase your overall stats. Lastly, you can make different strategical decisions that all have an impact on the way the battles will play out.
