The first game in line is Dig Dug II. The game is quite different compared to its more famous forebear, with a top-down view Instead of digging down, you will have to exploit a number of faults on the ground in order to send pieces of a floating island into the sea (along with all the enemies standing on them).

Next, we have 1988’s Mappy Land. It’s a classic side-scrolling platformer where you get to play as a mouse named Mappy.  You’ll have to grab collectibles on each level and avoid the enemies, just like every other platformer.

Finally, we have 1995’s Earthworm Jim 2 for the SNES. The earthworm in his astronaut-super-suit returns for yet another wacky intergalactic platforming adventure. If you’ve played the original Earthworm Jim, you know exactly what to expect in the sequel. We now have an expanded arsenal of weapons, new moves, and Jim also has a sidekick in the form of a living green Snot. You can use him as a parachute and to stick to different things.

You can find all three games in their respective NES and SNES libraries on your console through Nintendo Switch Online. You can also check out a video for all three games below.
