The Gunk confirmed for December 16 launch on Xbox consoles and PC

The Thunderful Group have announced that the action-adventure game The Gunk is coming to PC and Xbox on December 16.

The news came as part of last night’s Thunderful World Showcase event. As a small recap, you take the role of Rami, and along with your partner Becks, you have been sent down to the surface of a forgotten planet covered in a mysterious substance harboring a dangerous corruptive parasite.

You will get to explore the planet’s many biomes, including a dense jungle, subterranean caves, a rocky canyon region, and much more. As you keep removing the gunk, you’ll uncover hidden secrets and the ruins of a lost civilization. You will have to rely on your trusty power-glove (Pumpkin) to uncover the secrets the planet holds. Over time, you will also be able to upgrade the glove with new abilities and skills as you do so.

The Gunk is coming to Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC on December 16. It’ll also be available from Day One via Xbox Game Pass. You can check out the trailer below:
