Resident Evil 3 has hit two million shipments and digital sales in five days only

Capcom have proudly announced that Resident Evil 3 successfully surpassed two million global shipments and digital sales in just five days upon release. Digital downloads account for more than half of all copies sold, which is even more impressive. Of course, all platforms are included.

Of course, this record is hardly surprising. Resident Evil 2 achieved similar results and it shifted more than 6.5 million copies sold since January 2019, which is also an impressive feat. The popularity of the franchise is not going to cease any time soon and the rumors around Resident Evil 4 are very believable at this point. Once again, well done Capcom!

Resident Evil 3 is now available on PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
