A watercolor adventure, Dordogne is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch
The creativity is real here.
There are so many creative games out there and even more of them are yet to come. Based on what we can see, for now, Dordogne is definitely a contender that you will want to keep an eye on and it may be the prettiest game of 2021 already. I mean, we're not there yet, but just wait 'till you see these visuals....
The story itself is quite intriguing well. A woman named Mimi is hanging out in her deceased grandmother's house in the present day and exploring Dordogne in the summertime as a kid, creating quite a surreal contrast. Of course, there's plenty of mystery involved as well and all of that together makes up for quite a remarkable experience.
"In the past timeline, you'll help a 10-year-old Mimi explore Dordogne and complete her quests, affecting the present. Along with the puzzles that both versions of Mimi will solve, you'll collect photos, sounds, objects and words to create Mimi's journal - keeping young Mimi's memories of summers spent with her grandmother in Dordogne."
A studio led by Cedric Babouche himself, Un Je Ne Sais Quoi wants to create a game that "he could play with his daughters." They will make it, no doubt about that.
Dordogne is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch in 2021. You can watch the teaser here:
