As of October 7, Sony no longer provides Facebook support on PS4. In other words, you can no longer share your video, screenshots, your Facebook-imported avatar will not work on PlayStation Network anymore, and the trophy unlocks are now permanently disabled. You can no longer import your Facebook friends either. Sucks, doesn't it?
The decision is, of course, heavily connected to concerns over privacy and Facebook's use of users' data. The company's constant API changes don't help much either.
Although I found Facebook integration extremely useful, I am not too surprised here and I think Sony's decision is justified. If you really want to use a custom picture, you can do that via the official PlayStation app. That will be the way to go from now on.
