Risk of Rain 2 has just been released on Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch

Gearbox have just announced that Risk of Rain 2 is out today and it's available on Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
The original Risk of Rain was a simple, yet ambitious project from two university students. It was a roguelike 2D platforming game with quite an addictive gameplay. And now the sequel moved the whole idea to a full 3D environment.
Here's what the brand manager, Nathaniel Wattenmaker had to say about the game: "One of our goals was actually to keep the core moment-to-moment gameplay feeling similar and authentic to the original. When you land in Risk of Rain 2, the enemies will likely kick your butt, but in a fair way. Pay close attention and you'll see patterns everywhere. You learn. You grow. You get better. Eventually taking down enormous bosses to push ever deeper into the planet's mysteries".
