SNK 40th Anniversary Collection coming to Nintendo Switch

Get ready to have some amazing nostalgia feats as SNK and NiS America have both announced that the special bundle called "SNK 40th Anniversary" will be coming to Switch later this year.

As you might guess, this collection will include plenty of SNK's timeless classics and it will be sold as a limited edition that includes the bundle, the collector's box, the official art box as well as the Nostalgic Music Collection soundtrack. You can already pre-order this version for $64.99 directly via the NiS America's online store.

Speaking of the games that you can find in this bundle, we should mention that you can expect some well-known names such as Athena, Alpha Mission, Guerrilla War, Crystalis, P.O.W., Prehistoric Isle in 1930s, Victory Road, Psycho Soldier, TNK III, Vanguard, as well as Ikari Warriors and Ikari III: The Rescue. This is not the final list (obviously) and more games will be confirmed at a later point.

As we could also expect, the bundle will be powered with a save & rewind mechanism that we know from the classic emulators and we will also get some visual updates as well as a new control template. And, as a true collection bundle, once you get bored playing these games, you will be able to hop into the Museum Mode and see all the original concept art, promo materials as well as some other bonus stuff that we don't want to spoil here.

SNK 40th Anniversary Collection will arrive this autumn so you have plenty of time to prepare.
