In order to make our waiting as short as possible, Ubisoft released a new Far Cry 5 trailer where we get to meet the members of the Resistance and, even more importantly, we get to see more of the actual gameplay as well.
As we can see by looking at the actual trailer, the focus is heavily put on the Resistance itself (hence the name) but the teaser also showcases what to expect from the in-game action as well. There is plenty of dynamic stuff involved and you will be able to topple flagpoles, drive all sorts of vehicles and....of course, shoot plenty of stuff along the way (yay!). The people of the Resistance (and their animals companions as well) will be joining you on your main quest as you fight your way through Montana in order to liberate as many territories as possible.
We have to add that this teaser, in particular, is slightly different than some of the earlier ones that we were getting from Ubisoft. Far Cry 5 was initially portrayed as a dramatic story full of extreme violence as well as nasty extremism, in general, as well (which kinda...does suit the current geopolitical situation very well). But this trailer, in particular, breaks the mold very well. Over here we get to see action, action.......and even more action for the end, in a traditional Far Cry flavor that the series is well-known for.
We can't wait to get our hands on the final product! Far Cry 5 is coming on March 27, 2018, and it will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
