Earthquakes and the Modern PC Market
This morning at 10:50 AM, the island of Taiwan was rocked by an earthquake around 5 on the Richter scale. Insane Hardware has a friend that works over there that had firsthand experience of that quake, and one earlier.
A later article at the same site predicts that there will probably be a rise in costs in some places, perhaps immediately. The latter is a scam of course, and most buyers of computer stuff are advised to wait a few weeks for the market to resettle itself.
Linkage to both of those is on the main page of the site, you just have to scroll down a bit. Linkage and all that will appear. It's safe to say this wasn't the kind of rock & roll that they like over there.
