Breed textures changed, and gamers aren't happy

CDV have altered many aspects of their PC title Breed. The key changes appear to be a new set of game textures. These apparently give the game a less realistic feel than those found in the original code by Brat Designs. Other key elements such as storyline have been adjusted.

This has annoyed several gamers and has lead to an online petition:

We, the following, feel that the editing to B.R.E.E.D.'s textures by your employees was damaging to the games realism and atmosphere. Therefore, we ask that you release an alternate texture package which replaces your newer versions with the original textures created by Brat.
