The Binding of Isaac is a 2D rogue like action game inspired by The Legend of Zelda. Using a twin-stick style control scheme, The Binding of Isaac requires that you advance from room to room in a dungeon, defeating enemies along the way. As you continue through your quest, you'll unlock special items, weapons and power-ups that improve your chances of success.

Inspired by the Biblical Hebrew story of the same name, in which God asks Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac, on Mount Moriah, The Binding of Isaac combines gameplay elements from action, adventure and rogue like games.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is a remake and expansion on The Binding of Isaac--now with 100-percent less flash and expanded gameplay, playable characters, story, enemies, bosses and over 110 new items. Totally retooled and greatly expanded version of the game so many have come to love created in a proprietary NON-FLASH engine, Rebirth will also feature a totally new graphics overhaul rendered out in a semi 16-bit SNES style.
