About

Play PostZ in VR and get immersed in zombie survival arcade fun! Designed exclusively for VR, PostZ takes you straight to the action, with fun gunplay and increasingly challenging zombies. The game is easy to get into yet hard to master. Story mode includes five beautiful and immersive locations, with difficulty levels from Casual mode to a very challenging headshots only Expert mode. With laser and red dot sights, shooting is responsive and accurate. There is no aim assist, which adds a rewarding sense of accomplishment as the player improves their shooting skills. For dark locations, just touch the visor to turn night vision on and off. Improve your best score with each play session and advance your place on the Global Leaderboards. How far can you go?Content WarningMaybe it's the immersion, the aggressive movements, the snarling sounds, or the combined effect, and it probably depends on the person, but just know that these zombies can initially be surprisingly scary at full size in VR. Make sure your players are aware of this possibility so they don't panic and throw the headset, or fall over, etc. (Yes, this can happen.)Features
  • Get straight to the action with quick access, easy to pick up and hard to master gameplay.
  • Dangerous zombies - if a zombie gets to you, then you're out. These zombies are dangerous!
  • Headshots - A headshot will always stop a zombie. Shots to the body will also eventually stop them, just not in Expert Mode.
  • 360 degree gameplay- zombies are moving in from every angle so scan your surroundings to find your next target before it finds you!
  • Story Mode - play through five locations with one chance to complete the waves in each location. How far you go is up to you. Designed for everyone, the challenge remains to get the highest scores and all of the achievements. Whether a casual player, or an expert marksman, each player gets to experience all 5 locations every round with up to 10 waves available for each location. Finishing more waves translates to greater difficulty and higher scores. To get your next top score, stay alive as long as possible to advance through every wave. Go for headshot streaks and finish all waves for high scores and achievements. Finish the game in every mode for the highest tier achievements.
  • Accurate Aiming - Your weapon is equipped with a laser sight and a red dot sight. Both can help line up your shots. The laser is best in low light conditions, and the red dot is more useful in the middle of the day.
  • Skill based shooting - Landing shots and improving aiming speed is skill based. The laser and red dot sights help, but practice makes perfect. Improve your skills and feel a sense of accomplishment. There are no auto aiming systems at play.
  • Helmets - these can block shots, so either shoot them until they pop off or just work around them. In this game, a helmet has no invisible barrier that blocks the face. If you land a shot and hit the head, the zombie will go down. However, in some gameplay situations, this might prove harder than it sounds. For instance, crawlers with helmets can be challenging because they keep their heads down which tends to block getting around their helmet. Try hitting the helmet a few times to pop it off. Or, go for body shots. Remember to reload early and often, or the last thing you hear might be the click of the trigger as you dry fire your empty weapon.
  • Headshot Streaks - Consecutive headshots give an increasingly large bonus point reward. A headshot streak resets on a missed shot or a hit to the body resetting the bonus point reward. To achieve the highest possible scores, keep headshot streaks going for as long as possible.
  • View Detailed Stats for your player profile.
  • 28 Achievements including achievement tiers based on difficulty.
  • Leaderboards for each difficulty level.
  • Supports Room Scale VR and Standing VR.
Difficulty LevelsDifficulty levels from Casual to Expert include these fundamental changes in gameplay:
  • Casual mode requires no reloads, providing a more casual arcade experience. The basic zombie takes 2 hits to the body or 1 headshot. Armored zombies take up to 5 hits to the body or 1 headshot. Helmets will block shots but can be knocked off on any hit.
  • Normal mode requires reloads. To reload just aim the gun up or down. Reloading makes Normal mode significantly more challenging than Casual mode.
  • Hard mode requires reloads and increases the HP of the zombies. The basic zombie takes 3 hits to the body or 1 headshot. Other zombies also require more hits to the body, still 1 headshot.
  • Expert mode requires a headshot to take down each zombie. In all modes, headshots are an important skill, but in Expert mode, headshots are required. Note, in this headshot-only mode, headshot streaks still reset on a miss or a body shot. To take your scores to new heights, keep those skill shot streaks going.
Controls
  • Point the weapon downrange and shoot.
  • Reload by pointing the gun up or down.
  • Night vision can be toggled on and off by bringing your controller up to the side of the headset.

Sometimes you have to fight to survive, even if your gun acts like the dinner bell for other zombies nearby. When battling the dead, situational awareness is key, so watch your back!

Remember that VR can be physically demanding. Make sure to take regular breaks!

Have fun, stay safe and watch out for zombies!
