After Enclave HD made its way to PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch back in June, we now know that it will be launching on the PS5 on December 5.

It's hard to believe that more than twenty years have passed since the debut of the original Enclave on Xbox in 2002. Developed by Starbreeze Studios, the medieval action RPG now boasts an HD version at the courtesy of TopWare Interactive and Ziggurat Interactive. The updated edition features enhanced visuals, an improved soundtrack, and various quality-of-life enhancements. While it may not top the list of the most visually stunning PS5 games, it does come with exclusive haptic trigger effects tailored for the DualSense controller.

In Enclave, you have the choice to play as either a protagonist or an antagonist (if you prefer being the bad guy) with each faction giving six class options for players. The plot takes place in the realm of Celenheim, which saw a division between the forces of Light and Darkness a millennium ago. The breach shielded Celenheim's inhabitants from the malevolent Dreg’Atar, but with the rift closing, the era of peace could be in sight, so now is the right time for the beloved "unlikely" hero to emerge. Or you can opt for the role of a nefarious champion of evil. At the end of the day, the decision is yours to make.
