With the premiere of Castlevania: Nocturne coming shortly, Netflix have dropped a brand new trailer for the animated series. It shows off a glimpse of all the characters, the setting, and even a piece of the story itself. Building on the success of the original Castlevania animated series, Nocturne continues the plot with a heavy focus on the origin story of Richter Belmont.
The official release date is set for September 28, but you’ll be able to check it out a bit earlier. As Netflix stated, you can tune in to Twitch on September 27 at 12 PM ET to watch a live stream one day earlier. Although it is highly recommended to watch the original Castlevania series, it isn’t necessary to immerse yourself in Nocturne. The company claims “If you’ve never seen a Castlevania show, gaming adaptation, or anime before: start here.” Since I didn’t watch the original series either, I think I’ll listen to what they say.
