Fitness Boxing is being removed from the Nintendo UK eShop by the end of this year
Yet another digital game to bite the dust.
Bad news coming for UK Switch owners who would like to get some boxing practice. Fitness Boxing, a game that combines fitness and…virtual boxing will be removed from the UK eShop in the next couple of months.
Nintendo UK have announced the unfortunate information on Twitter and said that the last day to purchase the game is November 30, 2023. We don’t know what the reason for this removal is, but license expiration is a very likely explanation.
Fitness Boxing got mixed reactions upon launch, and one commenter even stated that they would buy the game for a pound. It was one of the first fitness games on the Nintendo Switch, beating Ring Fit Adventure by around a year. We have no information about the US and Japanese digital releases, but my bet is they are safe.
Such a sad announcement, but also a quick reminder that you can pick up Fitness Boxing digitally until November 30, 2023.
