Sonic Frontiers is getting a free The Final Horizon update on September 28
Super Sonic time.
Gamescom 2023 just couldn’t go on without our favorite blur showing up. If you’re still playing Sonic Frontiers, you’re in for a treat, as we’ve just got a short teaser trailer for an update titled “The Final Horizon”. The free update promises new playable characters, new challenges, and even a brand-new story.
The trailer isn’t particularly descriptive but it’s still a joy to watch. We can see a giant robot looking down on Sonic and his crew, which results in our beloved hedgehog taking out some Chaos Emeralds and turning into Super Sonic. The trailer ends there. As I said, we don’t see a lot, but Sonic going Super Saiyan always makes me thrilled and excited so I can’t wait to see more.
We don’t have a lot of details on The Final Horizon but we know the update is free, and we all love freebies, don’t we? While Sonic Frontiers remains a rather divisive game, it’s nice to see that fans are getting such a wonderful reward for their loyalty. Really looking forward to seeing how this update turns out when it is released on September 28.
